NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF POWER SUPPLY AGREEMENT BETWEEN EASTERN SAMAR ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. (ESAMELCO) AND SUAL POWER INC. (SPI), WITH MOTION FOR CONFIDENTIAL TREATMENT OF INFORMATION AND PRAYER FOR PROVISIONAL AUTHORITY AND/OR INTERIM RELIEF (ERC CASE NO. 2024-RC)

Applicants, Eastern Samar Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ESAMELCO) and Sual Power Inc. (SPI), represented by their undersigned counsel, hereby jointly apply to the Honorable Commission for approval of the Power Supply Agreement (PSA) executed between them.

Nature of the Joint Application
This Joint Application seeks ERC approval for the PSA based on the provisions of Republic Act No. 9136 (EPIRA), its implementing regulations, and other relevant laws and ERC guidelines. The PSA, conducted under the Department of Energy’s Competitive Selection Process (CSP), aims to ensure a competitive and reliable electricity supply for the Eastern Samar area.
